I saw you today, but you didn’t see me.
I left it that way, as that is how you want it to be.
At the red light, your car was the one just ahead.
It was bound to happen sometime, to myself, this I said.
I wanted to honk, wave and smile as wide as the equator,
instead of my swift glance at your face as I passed by in my car.
These days, at that intersection, your chi is what I feel,
like other places about town where we have shared memories.
